Please feel free to use this blog as a means to share insights, educational thoughts and ideas, lesson plans, or research related to the classroom. I am new to blogging and welcome any suggestions or insights on this blog itself. As I work on my Master’s degree in Education specializing in Integrating Technology in the Classroom I am very excited to learn not only how to create and use blogging to better educate myself on the ever changing world of education, but to also learn new and meaningful ways on how to create and manage blogs, wikis, podcasts, and other mediums of technology for use within the classroom. Many students are already “plugged in” to these types of technologies outside of the classroom, and I feel that it is my responsibility to utilize the skills they already have in these areas when implementing lessons in creative, engaging and effective ways.
